1. Who we are

Myribots is a platform operated by Last Myth Studios LTDA (CNPJ No. 68.787.729/0001-93), Rua Fernando Gomes, 128, Conjunto 803, Moinhos de Vento, Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil, ZIP code 90510-010. This policy explains how personal data is handled when you talk to a virtual assistant on Myribots, for example over WhatsApp. It complements our Terms of Use.

2. Our role

When a company uses Myribots to talk to its customers, that client company is usually the controller of the data of the people it serves, and Myribots acts as the processor, handling data on the client company’s instructions. For data we handle for our own purposes, such as operating, securing and testing the platform, Myribots is the controller.

3. Data we handle

Contact data: your phone number and the name shown on your messaging profile.
Conversation data: the messages you send and receive, with dates and times and delivery status.
Technical data: logs needed to keep the service working and secure, such as message identifiers and error records.
Data the client company provides: information the client company already holds about you and loads into its flows.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and we ask that you do not send it in conversations.

4. Why we handle it

to deliver and receive messages on behalf of the client company;
to run the conversation flow and keep a record of the service provided;
to keep the platform secure, prevent abuse and fix errors;
to comply with legal obligations;
to test and improve the platform during its testing phase, using only test numbers and synthetic data where possible.

5. Artificial intelligence

Conversations may be handled by an artificial intelligence virtual assistant, which identifies itself as such. The assistant helps understand and draft messages; amounts, deadlines and conditions come from the client company’s rules and data. We do not use a client company’s conversation data to train artificial intelligence models. You can ask for a human agent at any time.

We share data only as needed to provide the service, with:

the client company you are talking to;
messaging providers, such as Meta (WhatsApp), which operate the channel under their own terms and privacy policies;
infrastructure and artificial intelligence providers that process data for us under contract;
public authorities, when required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

7. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside Brazil. When that happens, the transfer follows the rules of the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018, “LGPD”).

8. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, for the period the client company instructs, or as the law requires. Data used in tests is deleted when testing ends. After that, data is deleted or anonymized.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect data, such as access control, separation between client companies, encryption in transit and activity logs. No system is completely secure, and we will notify the people and authorities concerned of security incidents as the law requires.

10. Your rights

Under the LGPD you may ask to confirm that we handle your data, access it, correct it, anonymize, block or delete it, receive a copy, know who it was shared with, withdraw consent where it applies, and object to handling that breaks the law. To make a request, see Data deletion or write to [email protected]. If we act as processor, we may forward your request to the client company. You may also complain to the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD).

11. Stop messages

You can ask at any time to stop receiving messages, for example by replying “stop” or “exit”. We record the request and stop sending new messages to that number.

12. Children

Myribots is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly handle their data for our own purposes.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the date at the top. Translations are provided for convenience; if they differ, the English version prevails.
